Job Description
We are currently seeking a reliable and skilled Light Vehicle Driver to join our team. As a Light Vehicle Driver, you will be responsible for safely operating and maintaining our fleet of light vehicles to ensure the timely and efficient transportation of goods and personnel.
Job Functions
- Drives delivery vehicle as needed and/or assigned for the purpose of transporting orders to designated customer and sites.
- Loads and unloads delivery trucks for the purpose of receiving stock and/or filling orders for transport.
- Maintains delivery vehicles (e.g. checking fluid levels, fueling, cleaning, etc.) for the purpose of ensuring safe operation of vehicle.
- Follow any special instructions pertaining to an individual order.
- Handover packing list to customers and ask for acknowledgement of goods delivered as a proof of delivery.
- Communicate positively with team leaders and fellow workers to coordinate deliveries.
- Follow all established policy and safety guidelines in workplace.
- Present a neat and professional image.
- Assist in keeping facility secure.
- Participating in physical inventories for the purpose of verifying stock and identifying losses.
- Report any quality or inventory discrepancy issues.
- Maintain proficiency in computerized systems and other technologies as required.
- Follow company policies and procedures.
- Other duties as assigned by manager time to time.
